The legendary chronograph, which is named after an equally legendary race track (Daytona International Speedway) in the USA, was the first watch I encountered the term “waiting list”. Today, this applies to almost every Rolex Replica model – but the Daytona is in some ways the pioneer when it comes to waiting lists.

This means that even if you can afford a Daytona (starting at 14,550 euros), go to a Rolex dealer for the first time and ask for a steel model, for example, you can expect to wait several years.

It’s rather unrealistic to just “shop” for a Daytona at Rolex. Unless you’ve been a good Rolex customer for years or decades. Then things look a little better. At least in terms of the waiting time 😉
