This morning, Tag Heuer Replica introduced two new additions to a line that has always reflected its diving heritage.
The new Aquaracer Professional 300 Date and Aquaracer Professional 300 GMT combine dive and travel functionality with proprietary, certified Swiss movements. The technical dial, rotating bezel, and case that is water-resistant to 300 meters are designed to take the strain of any activity. Let’s take a look.
Brief History of the Aquaracer
TAG Heuer first launched the Aquaracer collection in 2004, following in the footsteps of the diving watches it had introduced in the 1980s. The first models in the Aquaracer line were already water-resistant to 300 meters, demonstrating that the brand was serious about creating reliable, high-performance diving watches.
From the moment it was first released, the concept that still characterizes the Aquaracer was already defined. These watches immediately stood out for their wide variety of materials, colors and movements, all specially designed to provide diving enthusiasts, amateurs or professionals, with a robust and highly legible timepiece.
TAG Heuer Aquaracer Professional 300 Date
The Professional 300 Date is the perfect companion for your next dive or more challenging adventures. The sporty aesthetic of the 42mm satin-finished steel case blends with the robustness of the unidirectional rotating ceramic bezel.
The dial features a classic geometric wave pattern reminiscent of the deep sea. The hands and applied indexes are coated in Super-LumiNova for legibility even in poor underwater visibility. The bright blue seconds hand represents the last color visible during the dive.
Inside, the TH31-00 manufacture caliber beats, a COSC-certified chronometer. It offers an 80-hour power reserve and is equipped with a Nivachoc hairspring to resist shocks. All this enclosed in a case water-resistant to 300 meters.
TAG Heuer Aquaracer Professional 300 GMT
If you love crossing oceans and time zones with equal ease, the Aquaracer Professional 300 GMT could be perfect for you. This watch combines the brand’s underwater soul with the GMT function to keep track of two time zones simultaneously.
The 42mm brushed case houses a dial decorated with a sunburst pattern with a wavy motif. The bidirectional bezel in black and light blue ceramic (or green for some versions) allows you to read the time in a second time zone thanks to the 24-hour scale.
Here too we find a heart of Swiss manufacture, with the TH31-03 caliber, COSC-certified chronometer and 80-hour power reserve. All enclosed in a 300-meter professional waterproof case.
